Kankan (Cameroonian BBQ chili powder) 50g

Kankan is the signature spice blend of Cameroonian street food, used to season soya beef skewers and grilled chicken. Its aroma captures the spirit of nights in Douala, bringing a fiery kick to the start of an evening.

Use it in meat marinades or sprinkle it over your food at the table. You can also mix it with crushed, sand-roasted peanuts to help the spices cling to the meat and add a delicious crunch.

Created by Alex, our blend contains 50% chilli and 50% wild spices: omi, chamgue, manioc du nqui, racine jaune, racine de la sauce, bouton de veste, hachoue, malem, Rondelle and Pèbè.
