Olum

Also known as Rondelle or Country Onion, Olum is a nut that grows on a tree about twenty meters tall, native to the tropical regions of Africa. Its intense aroma resembles that of garlic or onion, making it an excellent substitute in many dishes.

In traditional medicine, it is used to relieve gas and bloating. Add it to bean-based dishes to soothe the stomach and aid digestion.

Usage: Remove the outer shell to use only the nut.
